Professional Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling Course

 

This Professional Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling Course is suitable for beginners or makeup artists with prior training and experience, enabling them to learn the latest styles and trends to upgrade their skills while targeting the improvement of their weaknesses.

 

Course Outline Suitable for Beginners:

Day 1:

  • Introduction to commonly used hair tools by makeup artists.

  • Understanding how to backcomb and use bobby pins correctly.

  • Familiarity with all hair parting techniques and pre-styling sessions.

  • Demonstration and practice of various types of braids.

  • Demonstrations and practice with curler tongs and hairdryers.

  • Demonstration and practice of morning bridal low bun.

Day 2:

  • Introduction to cosmetic products and makeup brushes.

  • Understanding different face shapes.

  • Application of base makeup.

  • Application of contour, highlight, and cheek blush.

  • Trimming and shaping different types of eyebrows.

  • Lip drawing.

  • Demonstration of personal or daily makeup (students practice on their own face).

Day 3:

  • Demonstration of bridal updo, let-down hairstyle, and side let-down hairstyle.

Day 4:

  • Demonstration of bridal day and evening looks.

  • Demonstration of trendy Xiao Hong Shu makeup look or soft smoky eyes makeup look.

  • Application of upper and lower eyelashes.

  • Application of different types of eyelid tape.

  • Hands-on practice on models.

Day 5:

  • Demonstration of short hairstyles and men's hairstyles.

  • Demonstration of romantic bohemian hairstyles.

Photos of hairstyles are for illustration purposes only. Students can choose the hairstyles they wish to learn. Alternatively, they can follow the master course syllabus to build strong foundations, allowing them to execute any hairstyle using the techniques taught by the master. Makeup or hair artists are always required to upgrade their skills periodically, but building a strong foundation is crucial before taking any advanced or master class.

Inclusive 6 months of online support.

Course Duration:

Full Time Only: 5 days (9:30 am to 5 pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break)

Course Fees:

  • 5 days: $5000 (1 to 1)

  • 5 days: $4000 (group) 

Course Outline for Existing Makeup Artists:

Day 1:

  • Demonstrate two to three hairstyles according to the student's learning speed. Demo and practice on a mannequin.

Day 2:

  • Demonstrate 1 signature makeup style and 2 hairstyles.

Course Fees:

  • 2 days: $2000 (For experienced makeup artists; can book up to 5 days with a custom course available)

Photos of hairstyles are for illustration purposes only. Students can choose the hairstyles they wish to learn or show me your work and I will advise which areas to improve.

6 months of online support.

Course Duration:  Continuous 2 days (9:30 am to 5 pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break)

Course Fees:

  • 2 days: $2000 (For experienced makeup artists; can book up to 5 days with a custom course available)
